Boston, Massachusetts (Vocus/PRWEB ) September 16, 2009 -- Brown Rudnick, an international law firm, today announced that a veteran Intellectual Property ("IP") team from Cooley Godward Kronish LLP has joined the Firm's Boston office. With over 35 years of combined experience, the team includes Partners Thomas C. Meyers and Robert J. Tosti.

Mr. Meyers has over 18 years of experience creating and implementing patent strategies for biotechnology, medical device, and pharmaceutical companies. According to Brown Rudnick CEO Joseph F. Ryan, "Tom and Rob bring significant breadth and depth of IP experience, particularly in the pharma, biotech, medical device and software sectors. Their addition strengthens our IP Group's platform in these important markets and demonstrates the Firm's commitment to advising global clients on how to best manage and safeguard their intellectual property rights."
