As HiSoftware's Managing Director EMEA, Nick Wilson is responsible for building and managing overall partner and client relationships throughout the region. Wilson has over 15 years experience of senior IT management including six years as Group IT Manager for GB Railways Group plc and two with National Express Group. He was most recently Managing Director of HiSoftware partner Virtual Zone, a UK based internet-focused software development and consulting firm with expertise in the integration and customization of advanced customer service technologies and data solutions. In his consultancy work, Wilson has advised the DfT on IT Strategy in relation to rail franchises and has been involved in numerous rail based IT projects including online season ticket and customer loyalty systems, a GPS train tracking and Customer Information System, and the development of franchise bid work. Nick specializes in identifying ways companies can leverage the internet to make a difference to their business, including leading the development of the award winning virtual assistant customer service system for the UK rail industry. Wilson is a Master's graduate of Leicester and Loughborough Universities, specializing in information management.
Based in Melbourne, AUS, Nord Samuelson is Managing Director - Australia and New Zealand for HiSoftware and is responsible for growing the company's channel networks throughout Asia Pacific. Prior to joining HiSoftware, Samuelson was the Vice President of Business Solutions for 170 Systems, a leading business process and content management solution provider, where he worked for over eleven years. He was responsible for fostering and growing relationships with sales, product and delivery partners, and responsible for assisting with product strategy. Samuelson also held the role of Vice President of Professional Services at 170 Systems. Prior to 170 Systems, Samuelson worked at Monitor Company for ten years. Samuelson was President and Founder of Decision Architects, a successful Monitor Group Company that focused on the development and delivery of decision support software. Prior to Decision Architects, he was a Senior Consultant with Monitor. Samuelson is currently on the advisory board of three internet companies: Certify.com, Speranza Systems, and Straightline Performance Solutions. He graduated from Bowdoin College in 1987 with a Bachelor degree in Math and Economics, Summa Cum Laude / Phi Beta Kappa.
