FaxBack Awarded "Best of Show" at ITEXPO West 2009

FaxBack's VoIP Plug-In for Microsoft Fax Recognized as a Best SMB Solution at Leading IP Communications Conference in Los Angeles

Tigard, Ore. (Vocus/PRWEB ) September 14, 2009 -- FaxBack®, a leading provider of reliable VoIP fax server solutions for business, enterprise and carrier applications, today announced that its VoIP Plug-In for Microsoft Fax received a "Best of Show Award" in the SMB category at ITEXPO West 2009 in Los Angeles.

Microsoft Fax, which is included in the business versions of the Windows operating system, is one of the simplest and most widely-available fax clients in the industry. Until FaxBack released its certified VoIP plug in, Microsoft's analog fax technology required users to connect to a PBX via modem. But FaxBack's VoIP plug-in now brings Microsoft's fax client into the VoIP realm, enabling SMB and enterprise customers to combine the simplicity of Microsoft Fax, with the cost savings of VoIP.

"FaxBack's certified technology remains on the leading edge when it comes to helping companies reliably deliver VoIP Fax - from our simple ATAs and VoIP Plug-ins for SMB customers, to our full-scale NET SatisFAXtion VoIP server for enterprise and carrier customers," said Mike Oliszewski, Co-founder and CTO for FaxBack. "We're thrilled to see TMC recognize our efforts with a Best-of-Show award, and we invite anyone interested in VoIP-fax solutions to get in touch with FaxBack."

VoIP vendors are encouraged to partner with FaxBack, to distribute this free VoIP Plug-in to their customer base. FaxBack also offers a VoIP Plug-in for Microsoft Small Business Server (SBS). Please contact FaxBack for further details on partnering opportunities, as well as additional details on how to obtain a trial-ware version for Microsoft SBS.

"Our judging panel felt as though this year's field was the deepest we've ever seen for the Best of Show Awards, and we congratulate the winners for standing out in their respective categories," said Rich Tehrani, CEO and group editor-in-chief of TMC. "The industry's largest collection of service providers, enterprise buyers, developers, and resellers come to ITEXPO, to see innovative solutions from companies like FaxBack."

FaxBack is a certified partner of Microsoft, and its Microsoft Fax VoIP Plug-in technology is also certified by leading carriers such as AT&T, Qwest, and Global Crossing, among others.

The ITEXPO Best of Show Awards recognize innovative products and solutions that were featured in the Exhibit Hall during the event. This designation serves to highlight the technological achievement and creative product features that set these winners apart from the rest of the crowd. INTERNET TELEPHONY Magazine's editorial staff evaluated the pre-show nominations, and met with vendors to inspect and review the displayed products on the first day of the Expo. A full list of the winners is posted on TMC's Web site at www.tmcnet.com.
