35 staff members from Feeley & Driscoll, P.C. volunteered their time to the Merrimack Valley Habitat for Humanity, marking the 10th consecutive year that Feeley & Driscoll has partnered with the organization.
Boston, MA (PRWEB) August 19, 2009 -- On Friday, May 22, 2009, 35 staff members from Feeley & Driscoll, P.C. volunteered their time to the Merrimack Valley Habitat for Humanity, marking the 10th consecutive year that Feeley & Driscoll has partnered with the organization. The Feeley & Driscoll team had the privilege of working on the homes in the Market Common Complex. The houses within this complex are being constructed to uphold Energy Star standards, which means each house will be 15-30 percent more energy efficient than a traditionally built home. The team had the opportunity to install TREX decking, paint, mix concrete for stair landing pads, and install housing insulation.
Feeley & Driscoll was particularly proud to work on the site in Lawrence where a devastating fire last year destroyed three nearly completed Habitat structures, displacing two families from the greater Lawrence area. Feeley & Driscoll staff members fundraised to help offset the cost of rebuilding these homes.
