Caveda Law Firm of Tampa, FL Hires New Family Law Attorney

Trisha Weed, former prosecutor in State Attorney's Office, joins Florida firm devoted to domestic practice.

Tampa, Florida (PRWEB) August 13, 2009 -- Attorney Trisha Weed has joined the Caveda Law Firm, P.A., after years of practice in the State Attorney's Office and with another firm that concentrated in domestic law.

"Trisha is an experienced assistant state attorney and family law attorney, and that will allow her to contribute to our firm's mission to serve domestic clients in the Tampa area," said David Caveda, founder of Caveda Law Firm, P.A.

Weed is a former prosecutor with the State Attorney's Office in Hillsborough County. She handled misdemeanor, juvenile and felony cases including all aspects of the cases from pre-trial motions to jury trials.

She previously practiced family law with the Tampa firm of Knox and Givens, P.A. Her practice areas are family law, divorce, child custody and military law.

Weed graduated from the University of Florida in 1998 and received her law degree from Stetson University College of Law in 2002. She is a lifelong resident of Tampa and has been licensed to practice law in Florida since 2003.

She has been active in the Hillsborough County Bar Association and the Florida Bar. She is member of the Family Law Section of both organizations. She is also a member of the Family Inn of Tampa, part of the American Inns of Court.
