Marion Munley to Participate as Staff Member at Gerry Spence's Trial Lawyers College

Munley, a Pennsylvania personal injury lawyer, has served as a faculty member at numerous legal training seminars.

Scranton, PA (PRWEB) July 11, 2009 -- Marion Munley, Esq. has accepted an invitation to participate as a member of the staff at the Trial Lawyers College (TLC) to be held July 9th through July 31st at Thunder Head Ranch in Dubois, Wyoming.

The Trial Lawyers College was formed in 1994 by prominent trial lawyer, Gerry Spence, for the purpose of training effective and winning advocates for justice. The Trial Lawyers College is dedicated to training and educating lawyers who are committed to the jury system and to representing and obtaining justice for individuals. Lawyers, in all stages of practice, come from every state to train under many of America's greatest trial lawyers and judges.

Marion Munley graduated from Gerry Spence's Trial Lawyer College in 1996 and has served as a member of the faculty since 2004, training trial lawyers who have been carefully selected by the TLC Board of Trustees in the psychodramatic methods promulgated by TLC. Ms. Munley has put into practice the methods she learned at the Trial Lawyers College. Her successes have led her to be named "Super Lawyer" by Philadelphia Magazine in 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008; "Law Dragon's" 500 Leading Plaintiff's Lawyers in the U.S. in 2006; and "Law Dragon's" 2500 Leading Lawyers in all practice areas in the U.S. in 2007; as well as a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum.

Among her other professional associations, she was appointed by Chief Judge Anthony J. Scirica of the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit to serve on the Lawyer's Advisory Committee to comment on proposed rules of the circuit and on certain Judicial Council matters. She is a Certified Mediator for the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania. She is Board Certified by the National Board of Trial Advocacy as well as the Association of Plaintiffs Interstate Trucking Lawyers of America and is currently serving on the Pennsylvania Association for Justice Board of Governors. A graduate of Temple University School of Law, Ms. Munley is a frequent lecturer for the Pennsylvania Association for Justice, the Pennsylvania Bar Institute, and Lorman Educational Services regarding trucking litigation, trial tactics, and strategies.

Mr. Spence is recognized nationwide for his powerful courtroom victories. He has tried and won many nationally known cases including the Karen Silkwood case, the defense of Imelda Marcos, the defense of Randy Weaver at Ruby Ridge, the case against Penthouse Magazine for Miss Wyoming and the murder defenses of Ed Cantrell and Sandy Jones. He recently defended Attorney Geoffrey Fieger who was charged by the Justice Department in Michigan for federal campaign contribution violations, conspiracy and obstruction of justice. In 2008, Mr. Spence won an acquittal for Mr. Fieger on all charges. He also represented the Plaintiff in Mayfield v. The United States and was instrumental in obtaining a ruling by the Federal Court that held the Patriot Act unconstitutional. Mr. Spence has not lost a jury trial since 1969.
