Houston, Texas (PRWEB) April 10, 2009 -- Jack R. Morman, Jr., an attorney at Michael P. Fleming & Associates, P.C., has been named a Texas Rising Star for 2009 by Texas Super Lawyer Magazine - an honor bestowed on less than three percent of the lawyers practicing in the Lone Star State.
Morman, 30, who graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Law and earned his Doctorate of Jurisprudence from Baylor University School of Law, has worked at Michael P. Fleming & Associates, P.C. for three years. He has practiced in the general civil litigation arena since 2003. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America.
Morman, who previously worked at one of Houston's top personal injury law firms, has experience in all phases of civil litigation and at now specializes in general civil litigation with an emphasis on real estate law.

Fleming, a former Harris County Attorney was who elected twice by voters, has been a practicing attorney in the Houston area for over 20 years. Prior to forming his own firm in 2002 and shortly after leaving public office, Mr. Fleming was a partner in the litigation section of Bracewell & Patterson, L.L.P. (now Bracewell & Giuliani).
Fleming has represented clients in the state and federal trial and appellate courts, including arguing and winning cases before the U.S. Supreme Court and U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. He is one of the few lawyers in Texas Board Certified as a specialist in both Personal Injury Trial Law and Real Estate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He is also rated AV by Martindale-Hubbell.
