Tulsa, OK (PRWEB) April 23, 2009 -- "As a company that is primarily a training company, and first and foremost is our tactical training for SWAT, we feel honored and privileged to serve the NTOA and provide every participant at their national conference, a copy of our magazine", says Sol Bradman, Head of Operations for CT magazine. "In an era of threats from both terrorists and criminals, information on their methods is critical".
The magazine is the official publication of the International Counter Terror Officers Association and is widely read by military, homeland security first responders and Intelligence officers in the US and to select outlets abroad. The magazine focuses on providing a high-quality forum for the professional in counter terrorism and anti-terrorism or those concerned with protecting buildings, schools, the Public, and safeguarding our communities.
Established in 1983, NTOA is a non-profit organization whose membership is comprised of first responder law enforcement officers, SWAT officers and support personnel. Their nationwide membership approximates 30,000 active and retired officers, crisis negotiators and emergency medical technicians. NTOA provides educational and training support to numerous law enforcement agencies throughout the United States. Their board of directors and advisors are either active or retired officers from all levels of law enforcement, and their representatives sit on many government committees seeking to improve safety, equipment, training and response standards for all police officers and first responders.
Each year since its inception, the NTOA has conducted a well-attended comprehensive five-day tactical operations training conference in September. In addition, NTOA hosts a Crisis Negotiations conference and a Breacher's Symposium. Information about all three events is available on their Web site. The Counter Terrorist is proud to have been chosen by NTOA to be present at this most prestigious annual gathering.
