A new program called "SUPER VETS" is asking pet owners, veterinarians, professors and scientists, who's your pet's second hero?
(PRWEB) March 1, 2009 -- A new program called "SUPER VETS" is asking pet owners, veterinarians, professors and scientists, who's your pet's second hero? "We want Vets who don't support companies with a history of cruelty to animals," says Freddy de Freitas, one of the members of Super Vets Selection Commission.
"We want vets who work for love, with a heart and soul."
The Animal Rights Movement is the newest "wave" in our society, with a growing number of local, state, national and international groups. The "pet" industry is growing, even during tough economic times.
We are living in a new society, an environmentally and animal-friendly civilization. Kids are becoming vegetarians; fashion designers are giving up all products made from animals. Animals and their friends are building the new century.
The job outlook for veterinarians ("vets") is very good. The number of jobs for vets is expected to grow much faster than the average for all occupations between 2009 and 2016. That's because there will be more pets, especially cats, and because more people will be willing to pay for more medical care for their pets.
Because the vast majority of veterinary clients love and trust their veterinarians, Super Vets wants to provide an opportunity for recognizing dedicated animal professionals. This is international program that welcomes all veterinarians and animal lovers from around the world.
