Robert A. Kirchmeier (New York) was named partner in charge of Business Development. Since joining Dempsey Partners, Kirchmeier has established a nationwide marketing and sales organization designed around the firm's core principles of integrity, quality, and client service. Originally a loss control engineer, he enjoyed increasingly responsible positions with major property underwriters including Arkwright Mutual and Zurich Financial. Kirchmeier is a graduate of the New York Institute of Technology.

Steven M. Kessler (Houston) was named partner in charge of the firm's Houston office and MegaLoss Disaster Recovery practice. He is also the national coordinator of the firm's property damage claims consulting practice. Kessler, a 30-year industry veteran, provides technical expertise in the areas of replacement cost quantification, large loss claims strategy, and project management. Formerly the Global Manager of Claims for a major property insurer, Kessler holds a BS degree in Chemical Engineering from The University of Delaware.

Christopher J. Giovino (Wilton) was named partner in charge of the firm's Forensic Analysis practice, which provides investigative and forensic accounting services in the areas of employee dishonesty insurance claims, white-collar crime investigation, and commercial litigation. Before joining Dempsey Partners, Giovino completed a successful 27-year career with the U.S. Department of Justice Drug Enforcement Administration, rising to the position of Associate SAC of the flagship New York office and Chief of the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Strike Force. Giovino is a magna cum laude graduate of Saint Bonaventure University.

Christopher C. Simons, CPA (Southern California) was named partner in charge of the Southern California office loss accounting practice. Simons specializes in the preparation and settlement of large and complex property and business interruption insurance claims for companies in the entertainment, manufacturing, financial services, hospitality, pharmaceutical, technology, and retail industries. He also performs business interruption exposure studies, white-collar crime investigation, and provides litigation support services to attorneys, including expert witness testimony. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Loyola Marymount University.

Jill Dalton (New York) was named partner in charge of the firm's Risk Consulting and X-V Analysis® practices and the firm's New York office. A former Managing Director of Marsh and leader of its North American property practice, Dalton advises the firm's risk management clients on property insurance and valuation issues including terrorism, business interruption exposure valuation, and related subjects. She is a graduate of Boston College and holds an MBA from Fordham University.

Maricarmen Calderon Marquez, CPA (Miami) was named partner in charge of the firm's Miami, Florida office. Marquez specializes in the preparation and settlement of large and complex property, business interruption, and employee dishonesty insurance claims on behalf of corporate risk managers and policyholders. Her practice encompasses losses in the U.S. and Central and South America. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Florida Atlantic University.
