Third party testing and certification on BellyLaf's Grippees™ and MiniMitts™ eco-friendly wash mitts was conducted by CPSC approved Consumer Testing Laboratories, Inc., based in Bentonville, Arkansas.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission is charged with protecting the public from unreasonable risks of serious injury or death from thousands of types of consumer products under the agency's jurisdiction. Starting February 10, 2009, children's toys and child care articles cannot contain more than 0.1% of six phthalates regardless of when they were manufactured. In addition, products cannot have more than 600 parts per million of lead in any accessible part.
