Kayla Horacek, an associate attorney at the Law Offices of Donald P. Schweitzer, a Pasadena based divorce and family law firm, is featured in Pasadena Magazine's "40 Under 40."
Pasadena, CA (PRWEB) January 28, 2009 -- Pasadena Magazine has named Pasadena divorce and family law attorney, Kayla Horacek, to their prestigious "40 Under 40" list.
Pasadena Magazine provides the list to recognize the hard work, talent, and achievements of 40 individuals, all under the age of 40. Pasadena Magazine states that these are 40 people that make Pasadena the place to watch for rising stars across a wide variety of categories.
Ms. Horacek was nominated by her fellow employees at the Law Office of Donald P. Schweitzer.
According to her employer, Maria Schweitzer, "Kayla is a rising young family law attorney who has dedicated herself to improving the quality of life for children. She is highly respected by her peers, her employers, and other attorneys and judges in the community."
Ms. Horacek attended Southwestern University School of Law and in November 2005, she became a member of the California State Bar. Shortly thereafter, she also became a member of the Pasadena Bar Association. She has received a CALI award for excellence in Torts, and has competed in the National Moot Court Competition. Ms. Horacek has also recently completed her training as a minor's counsel in Los Angeles County.
