Paul C. Savage, an of counsel in the Miami office of international law firm Greenberg Traurig, P.A., has been chosen to represent the Florida Home Builders Association (FHBA) on the Board of Directors of the Florida Green Building Coalition (FGBC) under a partnership agreement between the two organizations.
Miami, FL (Vocus/PRWEB ) November 20, 2008 -- Paul C. Savage, an of counsel in the Miami office of international law firm Greenberg Traurig, P.A., has been chosen to represent the Florida Home Builders Association (FHBA) on the Board of Directors of the Florida Green Building Coalition (FGBC) under a partnership agreement between the two organizations. He was selected by FHBA President Jay Carlson.
The FGBC is a nonprofit Florida corporation dedicated to improving the built environment by developing a consensus statewide green building program that defines, promotes, and encourages sustainable efforts with environmental and economic benefits.
Savage is the Co-Chair of the firm's Green Building and Sustainability Practice Group and designated as a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional (LEED® AP) by the United States Green Building Council (USGBC). He serves as Chair of the Green Building Committee of the Builders Association of South Florida (BASF), and was recently appointed to the Miami Green Commission for the City of Miami by Mayor Manny Diaz. He also is a member of the Florida Green Building Coalition, the South Florida Chapter of the USGBC, and the Go Green Committee of the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce.
Savage, who has more than 10 years of experience in governmental and environmental law, assists clients with environmental and land use issues in connection with green building projects.
