TrakSoft LLC today announced the upcoming major upgrade release of Contract Analyst, Version 3.0, an innovative and full-featured Contract Management System. The new version will include functionality enhancements and powerful new user customization capabilities.
Rockledge, FL (PRWEB) April 7, 2008 -- TrakSoft LLC, a professional software development firm, today announced the upcoming major upgrade release of Contract Analyst, an innovative and full-featured Contract Management System that will include a major upgrade with additional user customization capabilities.
"We are striving to make Contract Analyst one of the most flexible, all-inclusive, and comprehensive Contract Management Systems on the market," said Gary Harris, Director and Chief Developer. "It includes over 850 data fields, of which 247 are user-customized drop-down lists, a built in ad hoc report writer, a full year of unmatched product support, and realistic site license pricing instead of the usual 'per-user' pricing."
Contract Analyst is an extremely flexible, comprehensive, and intuitive Contract Management System. The contracting process can easily be managed from initial analysis through the creation and advertisement of RFP's; through the receipt and scoring of proposals, to awarding, managing, and closing the contract. Contract Analyst manages and tracks Requests for Proposals, proposals received, vendors, clients, and the full contract lifecycle. It includes proposal and contract status tracking, coordination and approvals, notifications, vendor performance tracking, compliance requirements tracking, contract budgeting and payment tracking, exemptions, encumbrances, amendments, deliverables, and much, much more.
Version 3.0 of Contract Analyst will be released in phases, with the most important enhancements released first. The first phase release includes major enhancements in User Customization, including the capability to modify and re-order fields on windows. Users will be able to rename fields, modify the display width of text fields, disable and enable fields, make fields mandatory, make fields read-only, change the order in which they are displayed, and set the format of some fields. Users will also be able to hide entire windows and modules if not needed. With over 850 data fields in the system, this will greatly enhance the flexibility of Contract Analyst.
Each subsequent phase will include one or more enhancements, provided at no cost to organizations that have version 3.0 or later. Scheduled releases include major enhancements to the existing e-mail notification functionality, security group capability, audit trail, and search engine. In addition, an automatic update capability will be included providing organizations the ability to easily deploy updates after testing. Several minor enhancements, such as adding new data fields and other system capabilities, will follow the early phases.
"It is often asked how we can offer a full year of support, provided by the developers themselves, instead of the usual untrained and outsourced customer support personnel following checklists," said Paul Gronka, Senior Developer. "The product is solid, reliable, proven, and rarely has problems. Since the product was initially released, we can count the total number of trouble tickets on our fingers."
With Contract Analyst an organization can quickly get and maintain control of contracts by collecting all contract information into a single centralized repository while maintaining organizational separation. Contract management processes and control can be simplified and streamlined by organizing contract data and reducing and eliminating unnecessary steps. Contract risks can be identified, reduced, and managed by using the built-in risk analysis tool. Contract dates, deadlines, and milestones will not be missed due to the e-mail notifications and tickler dates throughout the entire system.
Contract Analyst will help organizations to greatly improve the accuracy of contract information and reporting through the use of 99 user-customizable drop-down lists and two levels of data security. The management of contract budgeting, billing, and expenditures can be enhanced by the use of several financial tools within the system, and the capability to link to accounts, funds, and funding sources. The software can improve the pre-contract award processes by managing proposal requests (RFP's, RFQ's, and RFI's), streamlining proposal scoring and vendor selection, and reducing manual entry by using secure electronic bidding.
"Installation, setup, and implementation is quick and easy with Contract Analyst," said Paul Buck, Senior Developer. "A generic customizable implementation plan is provided and the database is open providing easy importing of legacy data from other databases, spreadsheets, and other files. The system is very intuitive and requires little or no training."
Contract Analyst is used in many industries throughout the world because of its flexibility and versatility. These industries include banking and financial, communications, manufacturing, aircraft and airline, service, non-profit, sports and entertainment, government, energy, medical, dental, and pharmaceutical. The enterprise version can support five different database platforms, including MS SQL Server, Sybase ASE and ASA, Oracle, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
The first phase of the new Version 3.0 will be released within the next few months. Any organization that has purchased Contract Analyst in 2007 or 2008, before the release of this new version, will receive an upgrade to the new version at no cost. There will be a cost increase when the new version is released.
