The "LYIN' TAMER" Leaves ATF & Lands National Media Attention, is Hired as Keynote Speaker at Fortune 500 Companies, and Signs Book Deal with A-List Publisher

Award-winning Federal law enforcement officer & internationally-acclaimed body language expert Janine Driver, aka the "Lyin' Tamer" will focus on her weekly national media appearances (where she cunningly and comically analyzes criminals, politicians, and celebs alike), Fortune 500 speaking engagements, consulting, and writing.

Washington, D.C. (PRWEB) April 18, 2008 -- Award-winning Federal law enforcement officer Janine Driver, popularly known as the "Lyin' Tamer," has announced today that she has left the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) after 15 years of service to spend more time on her media appearances, Fortune 500 speaking engagements, and writing and growing her personal and professional development business, Lyin' Tamer Education, LLC. Driver will be on Fox News' hot new comedy show "Red Eye" this evening and she will make a special guest appearance on NBC's Weekend Today Show this Sunday, April, 20.

"Thanks to ATF, I have trained more than 30,000 law enforcement officers on the federal, state and local levels, as well as U.S. attorneys and judges, on how to decipher fact from fiction," said Driver, who recently appeared on ESPN to analyze Roger Clemens' sworn testimony before the congressional committee investigating performance-enhancing drugs in baseball. During her 15 years of service with the ATF, specializing in detecting deception, Driver held a top-secret security clearance and served as the senior program manager and lead instructor for advanced interviewing (which included ground-breaking research and strategies on how to establish rapport & control, decipher body language and how to accurately detect deception), and firearms trafficking.

"I'm excited about Janine's decision to leave the Bureau," said retired ATF Agent and CEO of the Institute of Analytic Interviewing (IAI) JJ Newberry. "She's the best speaker and trainer that ATF had and thankfully, along with running her own corporate-focused business, she has agreed to be a consultant, speaker, and trainer for all our law enforcement-based international clients."

Driver founded Lyin' Tamer Education in 2003. The communication firm teaches people how to interpret non-verbal communication and turn that knowledge into their greatest asset. The firm specializes in the following areas:

  • Maximizing Sales & Marketing Development Plans and Negotiations
  • Enhancing Employment and Interviewing Strategies
  • Small Business Development & Personal Performance

An in-demand media personality, speaker, and trainer who combines education, with motivation and a splash of comedy, Driver has worked with Fortune 500 companies and has been highlighted on Rachel Ray, ESPN, E!, Fox News Live, NBC, CBS, ABC, and in the following print media: The New York Times, Washington Post, Psychology Today Magazine, Cosmopolitan Magazine, Life & Style Magazine (and more).

Driver can be seen weekly on Fox News and monthly on NBC's Today Show. She is also currently in negotiations with an A-list publisher to write her book, How to Get What You Want in the Boardroom, Bedroom and Beyond, which will hit book stores in 2010.

Driver is also a former stand-up comedian who shared the stage with Chris Rock, Robin Williams, and Ray Romano.
