Key witness in upcoming Anthony Pellicano trial exclusively reveals new details of her involvement.
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) January 31, 2008 -- ERSNews.com has obtained exclusive and extensive new information about the ongoing federal investigation of former "P-I to the stars" Anthony Pellicano. The FBI/Deptartment of Justice investigation into Pellicano's alleged wiretapping and racketeering have enmeshed Hollywood for the past two years. The trial (U.S. Government vs. Anthony Pellicano)* is now scheduled to begin February 27, 2008. Pellicano's client list is a who's who of Hollywood with names like of Michael Jackson, Sylvester Stallone, Chris Rock, and many, many more.
Pellicano is scheduled to stand trial in late February on federal charges of wiretapping and racketeering. The charges include paying law enforcement sources for confidential information. A federal judge cleared the way for Pellicano to act as his own attorney. That decision could ultimately mean that Finn will have to face in court the man she came to fear and loathe.
Erin Finn plays a key role in the federal investigation and she gave ERSNews.com exclusive details about her involvement. Finn is a little known model and former escort. She is the one-time girlfriend of former Hollywood Records/Disney executive Robert Pfeifer.
Phifer was so upset with Finn, that he hired Anthony Pellicano to dig up the dirt on his former girlfriend. Phifier and Pellicano had known each other for years. Digging up dirt on Finn, according to federal prosecutors, meant Pellicano wiretapped Finn's phones. It also meant, if necessary, obtaining confidential law enforcement information. His alleged sources may include an LAPD cop and a member of the Beverly Hills Police Dept according to federal prosecutors.
Eric Finn became so entangled in the Pellicano case that the pressure caused her to leave Los Angeles. She now lives in another state far from Hollywood.
Pellicano has been granted permission to represent himself at trial. The judge in the case denied an attempt to delay the trial. The trial had been delayed three times previously.
