Dallas, TX (PRWEB) January 30, 2008 -- InterLegis, Inc., a Dallas-based innovator of Web-based litigation and electronic discovery technologies, announced the release of its latest white paper, "Visual Analytics" by InterLegis President Kevin Carr. The paper discusses a unique, visual approach as a means to both search and review discovery databases that is the next evolutionary phase of electronic discovery technology.

As described in this white paper, visual analytics includes the ability to see a visual representation of trends or activity spikes within a data set and groups of related documents, allowing users to make faster decisions about the data they see, speeding the overall review process. The cutting edge technology will also uncover otherwise hidden documents by fleshing out unique, interrelated connections between documents. And because seeing information within a different context can alter the perspective of whether that information is important, this new visual strategy highlights how documents fit within communication trends between parties, uncovering sometimes critical pieces that otherwise may have been deemed unimportant.

In the paper, Carr concludes that visual analytics not only simplifies the search and review process, but provides the user a more engaging and interesting method for what typically has been a very tedious and mundane activity.

The new white paper is available free of charge on InterLegis' Web site, www.InterLegis.com.

Visual analytics is a recently introduced feature of InterLegis' flagship e-discovery product, Discovery360™. The feature is built into the core of Discovery360, so that it can be used throughout the discovery life cycle. Discovery360 includes every flavor of technology available today including similarity matching, concept foldering, auto coding, e-mail threading, text and meta data, native review and natural language searching, in addition to integrated electronic discovery processing. Visual Analytics can be applied to all of these search and review methods to offer the most unique, comprehensive view of any data collection.

InterLegis is showcasing its Visual Analytics feature of Discovery360 at LegalTech New York February 5-7th. Attendees interested in seeing a demonstration of Visual Analytics can sign up at www.InterLegis.com/NewVision.
