House Resolution 333, the impeachment of Dick Cheney for High Crimes and Misdemeanors will be brought to the House floor by Congressman Dennis Kucinich as a privilege vote on Tuesday, Nov. 6th. American Research Group Poll says 54% of Americans favor the impeachment of Cheney and the National Lawyer's Guild passed a Resolution for Impeachment on Friday, Nov. 2nd, giving further support for the impeachment proceedings.
(PRWEB) November 5, 2007 -- On Tuesday, Nov. 6th 2007, Congressman Dennis Kucinich will bring a privilege vote to the floor of the House of Representatives on HRES 333, the Impeachment of Dick Cheney. According to the American Research Group, 54% of Americans favor the impeachment of Dick Cheney (http://www.americanresearchgroup.com/impeach/). Vice President Cheney is being charged with defying his oath to the United States Constitution by conducting the following activities (from House Resolution 333):
"1. Purposely manipulated the intelligence process to deceive the citizens and Congress of the United States by fabricating a threat of Iraqi weapons of mass destruction to justify the use of the United States Armed Forces against the nation of Iraq in a manner damaging to our national security interests.
2. Purposely manipulated the intelligence process to deceive the citizens and Congress of the United States about an alleged relationship between Iraq and al Qaeda in order to justify the use of the United States Armed Forces against the nation of Iraq in a manner damaging to our national security interests.
3. Openly threatened aggression against the Republic of Iran absent any real threat to the United States, and done so with the United States proven capability to carry out such threats, thus undermining the national security of the United States."
The National Lawyers Guild passed an Impeachment Resolution on Friday, Nov. 2nd 2007 and will begin a national campaign for impeachment of both Cheney and Bush, providing further support for the impeachment proceedings to be held this Tuesday, 11/06/2007. Here is the NLG Resolution:

Only 21 House Representatives have co-sponsored HRES 333, this is not reflective of the poll results from the American Research Group.
