Attorney Hosts "Pursuing Justice" Radio Program

The radio program will be the foremost media authority for the legal profession in the Metropolitan Detroit community. The program will educate the public on contemporary legal issues and historical precedents. The program will educate the community on new developments in the law, inform citizens of their legal rights, and enlighten individuals on how the law is applicable to their life.

Jermaine A. Wyrick graduated has practiced law since 1997 in various areas including Civil Rights, Criminal, Government Liability, Juvenile, Personal Injury, and Probate. Attorney Wyrick has made appearances as a legal advisor on radio programs, including Frankie Darcell's "Talk of the Town" Program on 92.3 FM, in Detroit, Michigan, "Frankly Speaking" Radio Program on 88.1 FM, in Highland Park, the NAACP Radio Program, "Let the Record Reflect," on 90. 9 FM in Detroit.

Attorney Wyrick lectured in various places, including for Lorman Education Services, the Northville Psychiatric Hospital, Continuing Medical Education program, and the Detroit Branch NAACP George W. Crockett Community Law School. Attorney Wyrick awards include the Pepsi "Everyday Freedom Hero" Award; "Civil Rights and Education" United States Attorney's Office Black History Month Award, and the "Five under Ten" Award from the University of Michigan, African American Alumni Council; Who's Who in America, the Federal Bar Association, Pro Bono Project Award; Respect for Law, Optimist International, and an award from he Detroit Branch NAACP for Outstanding Leadership in Affirmative Action.

Attorney Wyrick is currently a member of the Detroit Metropolitan Bar Association, the State Bar of Michigan, the National Bar Association, the Wolverine Bar Association, the Coleman A. Young Foundation Board of Directors, and the State Bar of Michigan Public Outreach Committee.
