The Council on Ethical Billing (CEB) announced today the appointments of Mr. C. Peter Hitson and Mr. John P. McGann to its Advisory Board.
New York, NY (PRWEB) October 2, 2007 -- The Council on Ethical Billing (CEB) announced today the appointments of Mr. C. Peter Hitson and Mr. John P. McGann to its Advisory Board.

Peter Hitson is the Assistant Vice President, Legal Practices & Support for The Hartford Financial Services Group, Inc. In support of Property and Casualty Claims, Pete is charged with selection, retention, evaluation and management of outside counsel and other legal vendor relationships. He also oversees The Hartford's legal bill review services and legal e-billing initiative. Pete is the former National Manager of Panel Counsel, and served as Managing Attorney within Claims Legal. He was engaged in private practice prior to joining The Hartford. He is a graduate of Denison University and The University of Pittsburgh School of Law.
John McGann is the Vice President, Claims Legal Services for OneBeacon Insurance. He is responsible for managing its 13 Staff Counsel Offices, Legal Coverage Unit, Legal Bill Review Unit and has oversight responsibility for panel counsel administration and selection (including the company's e-billing program). His involvement in industry related groups includes being Vice Chair of the ACC Insurance Staff Counsel Committee and being a member of the UTBMS Insurance Update Initiative Committee.
John is a former litigation attorney and has held a variety of legal positions with national insurers handling environmental coverage matters and litigation management initiatives. He has been an attorney for 25 years and is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. He is a graduate of Bowdoin College and Franklin Pierce Law Center.
