Anita Porte Robb Selected to Present 'Masters Trial Program' on Closing Argument at Missouri Bar Annual Meeting

Closing Argument demonstration at state-wide annual convention is based on actual case and features videotaped jury deliberations.

Springfield, MO (PRWEB) October 5, 2007 -- Missouri personal injury attorney Anita Porte Robb of ROBB & ROBB LLC presented a closing argument trial demonstration and mock jury deliberation program at last week's Annual Meeting of The Missouri Bar in Springfield, Missouri. The presentation was part of the conference's "Master Trial Program," which was attended by lawyers and judges from across the state.

The demonstration featured closing arguments presented to two mock jury panels, whose deliberations were also shown. The case presented was based on the actual case Coon v. American Compressed Steel, 207 S.W.3d 359 (Mo. App. W.D. 2006), which Ms. Robb tried in Kansas City. The appeal in the actual case upheld an award of punitive damages for wrongful death against a trucking company. The case was a precedent-setting decision for all future truck accident lawyers.

According to Ms. Robb, "The trial demonstration allowed those in attendance to see how representative jurors view trucking liability and punitive damages issues in wrongful death cases."
