Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) April 2, 2009 -- eMag Solutions, LLC, an international provider of electronic discovery services and data management solutions, announces the addition of several significant new positions filled by respected veterans of the e-discovery and information technology industries. Catherine Cook-Holmes, Leigh-Anne Levinski and Robert Wakeley have joined eMag in the roles of sales executives. Also, eMag has hired Rupen Patel as the company's new vice president of software engineering.
Despite current economic conditions weighing on many e-discovery and technology service providers, eMag Solutions' continued growth has prompted the need for ongoing staff additions. eMag's achievement of ISO/IEC 27001:2005 certification, announced earlier this year, along with recent advancements in product development have earned the company significant attention. These developments have spurred an increase in business from clients seeking service providers with a commitment to security and the ability to deliver innovative technology solutions. On March 5, eMag announced a technological breakthrough in accessing and restoring discoverable data directly from "virtual tape," the result of which is the substantial savings of time and money for organizations needing to restore archive tapes in volume from a mainframe environment.
eMag's newest staff additions bring a wealth of experience and will help the company continue its tradition of superior service and innovative technology development.
- Catherine Cook-Holmes brings more than 20 years of experience within the legal, compliance and records management industries, most recently with National Data Conversion and Iron Mountain, Inc. She began her career as a communications officer with the U.S. Marine Corps, after which she moved into the field of information technology. Catherine worked in IT project management, implementation, technical leadership and systems engineering before pursuing roles in account management and business development. She is currently active in ARMA, Women in eDiscovery, EDRM, and The Sedona Conference.
- Leigh-Anne Levinski joins eMag with more than five years of experience working with corporate legal departments and the nation's largest law firms on large, complex electronic discovery and risk management projects. Working with Oce Business Services and Renew Data Corp., she provided national support and worked in regional account management and sales roles.
- Robert Wakeley is an accomplished veteran in the field of information technology, bringing to eMag more than ten years of software and enterprise sales expertise working with industry leaders Guidance Software and Citrix Systems. He also has 12 years of experience in financial consulting with Smith Barney/Paine Webber, where he excelled in sales and financial portfolio management.
- Rupen Patel has 15 years of software development experience, including the development and management of cutting-edge products involving a broad cross-section of software technologies. He most recently worked for Turner Broadcasting System/CNN.com as a senior technical director and lead engineer/architect. Prior to TBS, Rupen was a senior software engineer at Cygnus Solutions, a leading-edge software company that was acquired by Red Hat. He also gained experience in software engineering and research and development with companies including Nortel Networks, Hewlett Packard, and Unisys. As vice president of software engineering, Patel is overseeing the development of a full suite of eMag's new software products, including the Software-As-A-Service (SaaS) offerings on which eMag is focused on producing over the next two to three years.
