New York, NY (PRWEB) January 9, 2008 -- The Council on Ethical Billing (CEB) and the International Litigation Management Association (ILMA) announced today they have agreed to a definitive merger between the two organizations. The combined organization will retain the name the Council on Ethical Billing and will broaden its focus to include both litigation management and ethics in billing.
Mr. Adam Potter will be the Executive Director of the CEB. He will be joined by Mr. Michael Boutot as President and Advisory Board Chairman, and Mr. Kevin Quinley as Vice President. The combined fourteen member Advisory Board will consist of eight senior litigation management individuals from the largest insurance companies, two insurance brokers, and four litigation management professionals from major corporations. The advisory board individuals will be announced shortly.
"The combination of these two entities creates an organization exclusively focused on litigation management and ethics in billing principles," said Mr. Adam Potter. "The Council will unite our Fellows and Members to address issues and develop solutions for the industry."
Mr. Michael Boutot said, "we are looking forward to further developing the organization and bridging litigation management between insurance companies, insureds, and corporate legal departments. In this regard, we have changed the Council's tag line to 'Excellence in Litigation Management' which reflects the organizations overall mission."
"The newly created organization will further litigation management principles and provide a valuable resource for litigation management professionals. We are looking forward to further outlining the Council's goals at the annual conference in Orlando, March 13 -- 14, 2008," said Mr. Kevin Quinley.
